Clontarf reached the final of the Leinster Cup for the second successive year with a 31-11 win over Lansdowne at Castle Avenue. The game was delayed for over half an hour due to injuries to Ronan O’Reilly and Donovan Rossi who were both removed to hospital but Club PRO Denis D’Arcy later confirmed that neither injury was serious.
The eventual winners led 12-11 at half time and will now play either Co Carlow or Bective Rangers in the final.
