It’s A Sell Out.

Munster lost no caste with their supporters following the Cetic League defeat, tickets for the Heineken Cup game on January 5th selling out within hours of going on sale.

Munster lost no caste with their supporters following the Cetic League defeat, tickets for the Heineken Cup game on January 5th selling out within hours of going on sale.

Tickets went on sale on Monday, were sold out by 2.40pm on that day in Thomond Park and by lunchtime in Musgrave Park on Tuesday.

A Branch spokesman describing the the response as phenomenal said, ” Of course we were expecting to sell-out for a game such as this but the speed of it all took us by surprise. With Christmas just around the corner and the disappointment of last Saturday we expected sales to be a little slow. But it just goes to show what the supporters think of this Munster team.”

Thomond Park will be bursting at the seams for the visit of Keith Wood and his Harlequins and then Munster take the long road to Castres, a week later, for the Pool decider against Castres.
