Leinster will have plenty of support on Sunday at Welford Road when they take on Leicester Tigers. A spokesperson for the Leinster Branch said that up to 2000 tickets had already been purchased as Leinster supporters prepared to lend their weight to their side’s effort to dethrone the champions in their Tiger lair.

The few remaining tickets will be returned to Leicester tomorrow but the spokesperson said that the Branch office will make tickets available for, ‘an hour or two in the morning’ (Tuesday), to facilitate those still looking to travel to Leicester.

Meanwhile, tickets for Munster v Stade Francais were sold out in a little over an hour this morning when they went on sale in Musgrave.
