Following their home defeats at the weekend against Ballymena and Cork Con respectively, DLSP or Co Carlow are now facing the prospect of joining Young Munster in Division Two.
11/03/02.DLSP, beaten 28-8, are no strangers to this situation having struggled to avoid relegation in the past two seasons since winning promotion as runners-up to Dungannon in 1998/1999. They have, arguably, the easier run in with an away game next weekend against St Mary’s (still in with a chance of the play offs) followed by a home tie with Galwegians. Co Carlow travel to UCD next Saturday to take on a side that still harbour hopes of a play off spot and their last game is in Oak Park against Ballymena.
