Under 19s Win in Italy

25/03/02.Ireland Under 19s ran in six tries in their 32-7 win over Korea in FIRA Youth World Cup in Italy yesterday. Five of those tries came in the opening half.

Full back Andrew Finn opened the scoring folllowed quickly by a second from wing Andy Lowe. There were three further tries before the break, from Aiden Rees John Hill and Peter McMahon to leave the Irish 25 points up.

Five minutes after the restart Conor Geoghegan ran in a sixth try, this time Daire Geraghty adding the conversion with the Koreans ending with a consolation score.

The Irish now face Romania on Wednesday
