Horgan Out Of Munster Side

23/05/02. A freak training ground accident has ruled Anthony Horgan out of the Munster side ahead of Saturday’s clash with Leicester in Cardiff.

Horgan sustained the injury in a mild clash with a teammate as the squad warmed up prior to the late afternoon training session in the indoor facility at the Vale of Glamorgan Hotel.

At first it semmed none too serious but on the advice of team doctor Len Harty, Horgan was taken to a nearby hospital where an x-ray revealed the seriousness of the injury.
