Gary Longwell returns to an Ulster side that shows 3 changes from the side that started against Glasgow, for Friday’s Heineken Cup clash with Biarritz at Ravenhill (7pm).

Gary Longwell is one of three changes that Ulster coach Alan Solomons has made, from the side that started against Glasgow, for Friday’s clash with Biarritz Olympique in Ravenhill (7pm).
Longwell returns from injury and replaces Mark Blair while the other changes see Andy Ward replace Tony McWhirter and Ryan Constable selected ahead of Shane Stewart.

Longwell missed the Glasgow game after injuring a shoulder in the international against Argentina while Ward and Stewart played their way back into the side having come on as replacements in the victory over Glasgow.

Ward scored a try in that game, a score that had it’s origins in a superb Constable break, while Stewart will be remembered for squandering a try oppportunity when on one occasion, he ignored James Topping outside him.

Ulster: Bryn Cunningham; James Topping, Ryan Constable, Johnny Bell, Scott Young; David Humphreys, Neil Doak; Justin Fitzpatrick, Matt Sexton, Robbie Kempson; Gary Longwell, Jeremy Davidson; Warren Brosnihan, Neil McMillan, Andy Ward
(capt).

Replacements: Simon Best; Paul Shields; Mark Blair; Tony McWhirter; Kieran Campbell; Adam Larkin; Sheldon Coulter.
