IRFU National Team Physiotherapist
The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) is the governing body for the sport in Ireland. It is dedicated to the development, growth and success of rugby football and has over 300 technical, professional rugby-playing and support staff and now is looking to appoint a Physiotherapist to the National Team.
This is an exciting and challenging appointment at the cutting edge of sports medicine. The position involves elite player injury management, working alongside a professional medical support structure and coordinating Physiotherapist services in relation to players within the National Squad.
The successful applicant is required to be a Chartered Physiotherapist with a minimum of five years post-graduate experience. Ideally, three or more years would have involved working with elite professional sports teams, preferably in rugby.
A post graduate qualification in sports and /or manipulative therapy and qualifications or training in
first aid practice would be beneficial.
The salary and benefits package will be in line with the experience of the successful candidate.
