Munster coach Alan Gaffney and his Connacht counterpart Michael Bradley will asemble their squads this Monday morning in preparation for European semi-final action next weekend. Both coaches will be working with a full complement after most of the big guns were rested on Friday night last.

Munster were beaten 28-17 by Edinburgh in Musgrave Park while Connacht led Ulster 21-15 at half time before going under 42-27 at Ravenhill.

On Sunday, Munster’s semi-final opponents London Wasps carved out a morale boosting 11-7 win over Leeds at Headingley and their coach Warren Gatland kept his big name players on the bench until the final quarter when the arrival of Josh Lewsey, Rob Howley Simon Shaw and Lawrence Dallaglio prompted a Wasps revival that saw them go from 7-6 down into an 11-6 winning lead.
