IRISH EXILE DR. GARY O’DRISCOLL IN BRITISH AND IRISH LIONS MANAGEMENT TEAM

Dr. Gary O’Driscoll, who started his association with the Exiles as a player and then became our doctor seven years ago, will be part of the Lions party to visit New Zealand.

Gary first got involved with Ireland underage teams when he went to the U21 World Cup in South Africa with the U21 World Cup side. Gary continued to work with the Ireland U21 side for two years.

He then was invited to be the doctor for the full Ireland side. Gary is respected by both players and coaches and has a good rapport with both young and senior players.

It was evident, even in his early days with the Exiles, that his professional and caring attitude could be utilised by Ireland. Injured players were monitored and advised by Gary for weeks after their injuries occurred.

The Exiles are very proud of another Exiles contribution to Irish rugby.
