The following are the times and dates to catch the coverage from the Far East:
Sunday, June 12: First Test: Japan v Ireland, Nagai Stadium, Osaka, kick-off 6.00am Irish time (deferred coverage, 11.00am, highlights, 6.30pm, both RTI Two)
Sunday, June 19: Second Test: Japan v Ireland, Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground, Tokyo, kick-off 6.00am (deferred coverage, 12.00pm, highlights, 8.00pm, both RTI Two)
The Irish squad took a break from training yesterday (Thursday) for a visit to Kyoto and the Kiyomizu Temple. On-the-pitch activities for Niall O’Donovan’s men resume today, with David Humphreys’ Captain’s Run set for Saturday.
Following the Osaka Test on Sunday, the squad will depart for Tokyo by Bullet Train on Monday.
