The Ulster Bank/IRFU Rugby Summer Camps kicked off this week across the country with over 500 children taking part at five separate venues.

The camps were enjoyed by children aged between 7-14 years-old and for many of them it was the first time that they had played the game of rugby.

All of those attending the camps enjoyed the summer sun in a fun and organised environment and gave them the chance to learn from the qualified coaches.

Each of the children received their own Summer Camp Kit Pack, which included t-shirt, shorts, socks, rugby ball and proved to be very popular with the budding young rugby players!

The camps will run from Monday through to Friday over the next eight weeks in 49 venues throughout the country. Each week there will be six/eights camps taking place.
