The Ulster Bank/IRFU Rugby Summer Camps are into their third week and have been a great success so far.
The children who attended the camp in Colaiste Stiofan Naofa, Cork were treated to a special visit during the day. Members of the Munster squad arrived down to lend their support and to show off the Celtic Cup.
Among the players were Irish internationals Frankie Sheahan and Anthony Horgan, along with their Munster team mates Frank Murphy and Denis Fogarty.
Players will be visiting the camps throughout the summer to cast an eye over the ranks of rising talent in the provinces to see who will be next to represent their province and Ireland.
Another intersted visitor and a man who has also worn a red jersey in front of thousands of fans was Cork Hurling star Sean Og O’hAilpin and he was treated to a big welcome from the children.
Each of the children received their own Summer Camp Kit Pack: which included t-shirt, shorts, socks, rugby ball and proved to be very popular with the budding young rugby players!
The camps will continue to run from Monday through to Friday over the next six weeks at venues throughout the country. Each week there will be six/eights camps taking place.
