Ulster Bank/IRFU RUGBY camps prove a hit with the kids
As the summer draws to a close, the Ulster Bank/IRFU Summer Rugby Camps are wrapping up after what has proved to be a hugely successful first year. Throughout the months of July and August, children from all over the country took part in the camps, availing of the opportunity to have some fun while getting fit and learning new skills. In all 49 Ulster Bank/IRFU Summer Camps were held throughout Ireland.
Adding to the fun and excitement, members of the Irish International and Provincial rugby squads visited some of the camps during the summer giving the children a unique opportunity to get some tips from professional players.
The Ulster Bank IRFU Summer Rugby Camps focused on fun and learning, and each camp was professionally managed by IRFU Development Officers to ensure that everyone got a chance to develop their rugby skills. Everyone that signed up received an Ulster Bank IRFU Kit, designed by Canterbury, to get them started.
Limited places are available for the final camps taking place in Dundalk RFC & Longford RFC in Leinster, Old Christians, Rathcooney in Munster, Ballina in Connacht and Carrrickfergus RFC in Ulster on August 22. Application forms are available from Ulster Bank branches across the country and further information is also available on www.IrishRugby.ie in the Summer Camp section on the Navigation bar. The cost per child is 100 and family discounts will be offered.
