CELTIC LEAGUE: Saturday, October 1
Connacht v Munster, The Sportsground, 2.00pm
The Galwegians flanker, who has made two starts and two appearances as a substitute in Connacht’s League campaign so far, replaces the injured Michael Swift on the blindside of the westerners’ scrum.
New Zealand lock Andrew Gallagher has made the replacements bench in place of Swift. Muldoon’s inclusion is the only change Connacht coach Michael Bradley has made from last weekend’s disappointing 17-15 defeat by Border Reivers in Galway.
Thankfully for the League’s bottom side, fly-half Paul Warwick has recovered from a rib injury to start. Scrum-half Tom Tierney (groin) and lock Christian Short (ankle) are also fit following recent knocks.
CONNACHT: Matt Mostyn; Conor McPhillips, Darren Yapp, James Downey, Keith Matthews; Paul Warwick, Tom Tierney; Dan McFarland, John Fogarty, Stephen Knoop, Christian Short, Andrew Farley (Capt), John Muldoon, Matt Lacey, Colm Rigney.
Replacements: Chris Venter, Ray Hogan, Andrew Gallagher, Brendan O’Connor, Chris Keane, David Slemen, Ted Robinson.
MUNSTER Squad: tbc
Referee: David Keane (Leinster)
