The 13,500-capacity Royal Dublin Society (RDS) stadium is to play host to the Celtic League clash between Leinster and Munster on New Year’s Eve.
Leinster officials confirmed the switch from Donnybrook to the RDS on Wednesday. It will be Leinster’s fourth outing at the famous stadium. Saturday week sees them welcome French side Bourgoin to the RDS for the renewal of Heineken Cup pool fare.
For Munster’s visit on New Year’s Eve (kick-off 1.00pm). there is live music and entertainment planned at the specially arranged pre-match ‘Family Day’.
The fun starts at 12 midday. There will be a Canterbury roadshow, Tag rugby competitions, face painting, player appearances and signings and much more.
