Ireland Coach Eddie O’Sullivan will name a squad of 35 players today for the 2006 RBS Six Nations Championship.

The squad will be available exclusively at 2.30pm on www.irishrugby.ie, the first and last stop for all the latest news on the Irish team during the RBS Six Nations Championship.

The long injury list that plagued the Ireland camp during the November Internationals has largely cleared up, with internationals Brian O’Discoll, Paul O’Connell, Denis Hickie, Guy Easterby and Eric Miller all recovered and back playing.

Only Munster duo Alan Quinlan and Frankie Sheahan remain the long term injury doubts as they continue to make progress from knee and neck injuries respectively.

Coupled with the good form of players for their provinces in the Celtic League and European competition, the Irish Coaching staff will have plenty of food for thought in selecting the squad.
