Injury Rules Dowling Out Of ‘A’ Team

Due to injury, Munster winger Ian Dowling has been ruled out of the Ireland ‘A’ team to play France ‘A’ in Limoges tomorrow.
Dowling failed a fitness test this morning, having strained his hip flexor muscle in training yesterday morning. It was hoped that he would recover in time for tomorrow’s game, however, the injury has not progressed over the last 24 hours and the decision to pull him out of the team was made this morning.
Ulster full-back Bryn Cunningham, who joined the squad as cover for Dowling, will now move onto the replacements bench, with Connacht’s John Hearty moving to the right wing in place of Dowling.
The revised Ireland ‘A’ team to play France ‘A’ in Limoges on Friday, February 10 at 6.30pm is as follows:
