AIB Cup – Semi Final Draw

The line up for the Smin Finals in the AIB Cup and AIB Junior Cup were made today in Terenure following the game against St. Mary’s College.

Following the quarter final action this weekend the draw for the semi finals took place in Terenure after their game against St Mary’s College.

St Mary’s won by 35 – 21 and have earned themselves a trip to Garryowen. Garryowen revenged themselves on Clotarf for the their recent defeat in the AIB League, but only just. It was a near thing at Castle Avenune on Saturday with Garryowen winning by 15 – 14.

The second semi final will be contested by Buccaneers and Cork Constitution.

Con overcame Belfast Harlequins in style winning by 41 – 13 at Temnple Hill while Bucc’s won through in the all Connacht derby, beating Galwegians by 23 – 6 (their third win on the trot against the same opposition.

In the AIB Junior Cup Youghal beat Monivea by 24 – 10, Rainey Old Boys ran out 43 – 9 winners over Kanturk, while Armagh beat Naas and Seapoint beat Westport to leave the semi final line up as follows:
