Ireland ‘A’ coach Michael Bradley has named his side for Saturday night’s Barclays Churchill Cup opener against the USA in San Francisco.

Leicester’s Shane Jennings will captain the side from number eight. The line-up includes Ulster’s Paddy Wallace at out-half and newcomer Tom Court in the front row. Court is a former Queensland Reds player now signed to Ulster and Ballymena.

Bradley’s selection also includes brothers Trevor and Ray Hogan in the pack.

Ireland ‘A’ manager Joey Miles commented on the decision to pick Kieran Lewis on the bench, saying: “We are keen to have a look at John Hearty as Kieran is more of a known product of Irish rugby.”
