Injury Update: Shane Horgan

Following Saturday’s first Test defeat by the All Blacks, there are no major injury worries to report from the Irish camp. Winger Shane Horgan did sustain some bruising on his jaw.

Following Saturday’s first Test defeat by the Alll Blacks, there are no major injury worries to report from the Irish camp. Winger Shane Horgan did sustain some bruising on his jaw.

Horgan received a knock to his jaw during the game at the Waikato Stadium, but the injury did not require an X-ray.

The Ireland training session planned for Auckland tomorrow (Monday) has been cancelled with a gym session in its place.

The team and replacements for the second Test against New Zealand next weekend will be named on Tuesday, shortly after noon (New Zealand time). IrishRugby.ie will bring you details of the squad as soon as the announcement is made.
