…David Ross…

Leinster Rugby have announced the appointment of David Ross as the province’s Domestic Game Manager.

Following consultation between the IRFU and the four provinces, this new provincial appointment is designed to manage, implement and drive all branch strategic and annual operational plans in line with the IRFU’s national policies. This will create a new framework for the further re-vitalising of the game throughout Leinster, invloving all sections of the domestic game.

For the past two years, David has been the first full-time Club Development Manager in Leinster since his appointment in June 2004.

Coming from a commercial background with over 30 years’ experience at senior management level, mostly in the Agri trading area, David had, prior to his appointment in 2004 with Leinster, many years of involvement with club rugby as a player, director of rugby, and club President, as well as serving for two years on the branch’s Executive Committee as a club representative.
