Exiles: First International Of The New Season

Some of us are old enough to remember the tradition of listening out for the first cuckoo of spring…

On a similar tack, we look forward to this time of year when age-group internationals recur, and particularly for Exiles’ representation. The first honour of the season has gone to loose-head David Millard, who played for the victorious Ireland U20 team that defeated Wales in Swansea on the opening night of the new international season and followed this up with victory over France last weekend.

David has now received international recognition in three successive seasons. He played for Ireland in the Four Nations U18 tournament in Wales in 04/05, followed by the U19s v. England last season.

David is currently with NEC Harlequins, whilst a student at St. Mary’s College, Twickenham.
