AIB Cup Draws

The draws for the semi finals of the AIB Cup and AIB Junior Cup have been made.

The draws took place at the Berkeley Court Hotel yesterday and the teams were drawn by IRFU President Peter Boyle and IRFU Sebior Vice President Der Healy.

The competition brings together both senior and junior clubs from all four provinces that were put forward for participation based on their performances in the respective provincial cup and league competitions.

In the AIB Cup Ulster’s Belfast Harlequins have been drawn at home again. Their opponents are reigning AIB League Champions Shannon. Clonakilty, the only Division Two side in the competition, have been drawn away to Garryowen.

In the AIB Junior Cup the two remaining Munster clubs, Mallow and Crosshaven, have been drawn at home. They will play Ulster side Coleraine and Leinster side Seapoint respectively.
