Under-19 ‘Follow The Team’ And ‘Venue’ Tickets Now On Sale

With the start of the 2007 IRB Under-19 World Championship now just over four weeks away, ‘Follow the Team’ and ‘Venue’ specific tickets have gone on sale for the tournament which is being staged in Belfast and Bangor form April 4 to 21.

The 2007 IRB U-19 World Championship is the third biggest tournament in world rugby with 60 matches played over the course of seventeen days.

Double-header matches are being played every two days at 5.30pm and 7.30pm, with Division A matches being staged at Ravenhill, Deramore Park and Shaw’s Bridge, and Division B games played at Malone, Queen’s and Uprichard Park in Bangor. Both the Division A and Division B finals will be played at Ravenhill.

There are 24 teams taking part – 12 in Division A and the rest in Division B.

Some of world rugby’s current leading lights – including Ireland’s Brian O’Driscoll and Andrew Trimble, New Zealand’s Richie McCaw, George Gregan of Australia and South Africa’s Bryan Habana – have taken part in the U-19 tournament over the years, so this is your chance to catch the future stars before they make it big.

Tickets have been competitively priced, starting at just £2 (Sterling pounds) for an adult and £1 for a child, to encourage spectators, and early birds who pre-purchase their tickets will pay less than those who pay at the gate on match day.

Tickets options include the “Day Pass” which provides entry to the game(s) played at a specified venue on a particular match day, the “Follow The Team” ticket which will permit entry to any ground at which that particular team are playing throughout the tournament and a “Venue” specific ticket which will give the bearer entry to all matches played at that particular ground.

Tickets can be pre-ordered their tickets from the Ravenhill counter or by calling the ticket hotline on tel: 0044 (0) 28 9049 3222 (10am-12 noon).

The “Follow the Team” and “Venue” tickets have just been made available – they went on sale on Monday. You can purchase them online from www.ulsterrugbytickets.com.
