Connacht Rugby have special family tickets on offer for Saturday’s Magners League match against the Cardiff Blues (The Sportsground, kick-off 6.30pm).
The family ticket, at a cost of €25, covers admission for two adults and two children to the game between Connacht and the Blues.
Normally tickets cost €15 each or alternatively €20 for the enclosed stand, while students and OAPs are €10, with children being admitted for €5.
Tickets are available from the Connacht Branch (tel: 091-561568) or alternatively from www.ticketmaster.ie.
Connacht coach Michael Bradley is eager for his side to put together an 80-minute performance and get their last stretch of games this season off on a winning note.
“If you go back to our previous encounter with Cardiff, we played very well over there. It’s been a feature of our season having started well and not finished games off, and obviously on Saturday we’ll be hoping to go one better,” Bradley said.
“The four matches at the end of the season present individual challenges. We still have a chance of getting into Europe, so it’s still all to play for although it seems remote. From a momentum point of view it would be great going into the Glasgow game (at home next Friday) having beaten Cardiff.
“The momentum may have gone out of Glasgow’s sails this late in the season and I think the Scottish game will be suffering from the announcement that the Border Reivers will be disbanded, so it’s all to play for.
“It would be a great boost if we can go to Wales having won three of our last four games. So going back to the game this weekend, a win against Cardiff would be seen as imperative.”
Connacht are away to the Dragons and the Scarlets in their last two league games next month.
