Ireland Under-20 prop Cian Healy has been included in the extended Leinster squad for Friday’s Magners League trip to face the Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade (kick-off 7.10pm).
The 19-year-old Healy, who is a member of the Leinster Academy, has been called up to the province’s senior squad after impressing in recent weeks in the Irish U-20s’ Grand Slam-winning campaign.
The rest of the panel is unchanged with Devin Toner, Fosi Pala’amo and Kieran Lewis all added to the squad, alongside the likes of Shane Horgan, Felipe Contepomi, Trevor Hogan, Denis Hickie and Gordon D’Arcy who bagged a brace of tries in last week’s defeat to Glasgow.
Reggie Corrigan, who became the joint-top Leinster cap holder with 135 alongside Shane Byrne, is also included.
Leinster won the last meeting between the two sides 35-13. Coach Michael Cheika is expected to confirm his team and replacements on Thursday afternoon.
