Michael Bradley’s Ireland ‘A’ side beat Canada 39-20 in Exeter on Saturday night to make a winning start to their 2007 Barclays Churchill Cup campaign. See below for a link to IrishRugby.ie’s match photos.

Saturday’s six-try success against the Canucks – with Ryan Caldwell, Darren Cave, Keith Earls, John Hearty, Johnny O’Connor and Jeremy Staunton all touching down – has Ireland ‘A’ nicely poised to either match their performance at last year’s Churchill Cup – winning the Plate final – or go one better and qualify for the overall final.

Michael Bradley’s charges are next in action on Tuesday, May 29 when they clash with the New Zealand Maori at Exeter’s impressive Sandy Park ground (kick-off 8pm). There will be live coverage of that match on Sky Sports Xtra, while we will also be running a live match tracker for it, here on IrishRugby.ie.
