Now with over 8 years experience, The French Sports and language Centre organised by Joe Walsh Tours Ltd., has matured into a very positive sporting and cultural experience for young men between the ages of 11-18.
An action packed itinerary, including 2 French classes per day and numerous sporting events with a specific emphasis on rugby, ensures body and mind are purposefully occupied.
The tented village produces an excellent camaraderie and a great environment to make new friends.We hope that our experience over the years in running the centre and our repeat visits and lasting friendships with many of the participants are testimony to our efforts.
Many current young players making their mark in the Ireland representative grades have benefitted from being in the camps.
The campe are run by the former Wanderers centre Nigel Osborne at the impressive Camp Nautique de L’Isle Verte, and is attended by mostly Irish and English kids between the ages of 12 and 15.
