September will be busier than usual down Garryowen way. With their first team representing Ireland at the Languedoc-Roussillon tournament in France, the club will also play host to representatives from other clubs as the draw for the AIB Cup and AIB Junior Cup takes place at Dooradoyle.
Last season saw a big haul of silverware gained by Garryowen and the coming season holds the promise of even more. The first XV will be representing Ireland in the Languedoc-Roussillon club tournament in France, the final of which is on September 14.
Four days later the Limerick club will be inundated by club representatives from all four provinces as Dooradoyle plays host to the draw for the 2007/08 season’s AIB Cup and the AIB Junior Cup.
Garryowen are the reigning champions having defeated Belfast Harlequins in the final last season.
The draw for the AIB Cup and AIB Junior Cup will take place in Garryowen on September 18 and details will be released on the day and published on IrishRugby.ie.
