World Cup Preview On TV3

On the eve of the the 2007 Rugby World Cup’s big kick-off in Paris, there will be an hour-long preview of the tournament tonight on TV3, starting from 10pm.

Presenter Matt Cooper will be joined in studio by a panel of experts – Jim Glennon, Hugo MacNeil and Michael Cheika – who will be casting their eyes over the World Cup’s main contenders.

For the first time ever, Ireland are ranked among the favourites to lift the Webb Ellis trophy, and TV3, as Ireland’s national broadcaster for the 2007 tournament, will be assessing their chances, as well as bringing viewers the very latest news from the Irish camp in Bordeaux.

Tonight’s programme will also have reports from the French capital, and a range of sporting personalities will be giving their views on the Irish team and the World Cup as the countdown continues to the most prestigious event in world rugby. Remember to tune in to TV3 at 10pm.
