The draw for the 2007/08 season’s AIB Cup took place at Garryowen FC last week. IrishRugby.ie was on hand to speak to some of the participants about the expanded competition.
The AIB Cup has been expanded to take in all 48 teams in the AIB League for the 2007/08 season. The draw for the newly expanded competition took place at Dooradoyle last week and IrishRugby.ie was there to video the draw and speak to some of the participants.
IRFU President Der Healy, whose own club Highfield were drawn against Bruff, spoke about the expanded competition and the involvement of the sponsors.
Garryowen captain Paul Neville and Technical Director Greig Oliver discussed their draw away to Lansdowne in the second round of the tournament.
