In Pics: Irish Colleges Interpro

With new sponsor Treasury Holdings recently on board the Irish Colleges Interprovincial series got underway yesterday.

The Irish Colleges Interpro series kicked off in Monkstown yesterday with students from colleges in all four provinces represented. Click here for pictures from the two games.

Leinster and Munster emerged victorious and will contest the Interpro final in December.


The IRFU recently announced a five year sponosorhip deal for the Irish Colleges with Treasury Holdings, the international real estate company.


The Irish Colleges Rugby Union incorporates Universities, Agricultural Colleges, and Institutes of Technology, Army and Garda Colleges along with other third level instructions. 39 Universities and Colleges and 750 students are involved at this level covering urban and rural Ireland, both north and south.


This year the Irish Colleges international Team will play three international fixtures against the Combined Services at the Stoop on Friday, February 1, 2008, the Scottish Universities in Belfast on Friday, February 22 and the English Students at Henley Rugby Club, London on Friday, March 14.
