Exiles U19s Record Big Win

The Exiles U19 recorded a big victory over a schools barbarians side in England recently.

Independent Schools Barbarians 0 Exiles U19s 41

On a beautiful sunny Sunday 6th January, at an equally beautiful setting – Harrow School – the Exiles got the new year off to the best possible start with an emphatic win.

The contest was as far from being as one-sided as the scoreline suggests, the main differences being the quality of the Exiles off-loading and defence, compared with the number of unforced errors the Barbarians made.

It would be invidious to pick out individuals after a team performance like this, but is is pleasing to record the fact that three of the tries came from newcomers to the Exiles ranks – Phil Leonard (Stonyhurst) and Robbie Winchle (St. Peter’s Gloucester).
