Team captain Paul O’Connell has been included in the Munster squad for Friday’s Magners League trip to Edinburgh (Murrayfield, kick-off 7.30pm).
Both O’Connell and John O’Sullivan have been included in Declan Kidney’s squad for the game. Also returning from injury is Ian Dowling who injured a knee in the game against Connacht in late December, while Ireland squad members Peter Stringer, Alan Quinlan, Mick O’Driscoll and Tony Buckley have also been named in the 26-man panel.
O’Sullivan has been out of action since the opening game of the season against the US Eagles, while O’Connell makes his second appearance in a Munster squad having played for an hour in the province’s ‘A’ game against Ulster last week.
Munster coach Kidney will confirm his starting line-up and replacements tomorrow prior to the squad’s departure for Scotland.
