The Ireland squad is back in camp ahead of the crunch Six Nations game against Wales next Saturday. Both Geordan Murphy and Girvan Dempsey are currently recovering from injury.
The Ireland squad reassembled in Dublin yesterday after the weekend’s Magners League action. The Ireland team will train today at UCD but Geordan Murphy is not expected to take part. He suffered a strain to his right Achilles tendon while playing for Leicester Tigers against Leeds Carnegie over the weekend.
Murphy is unlikely to train today and the injury will be further assessed over the next 24 hours by the Ireland medical team.
Girvan Dempsey has continued with his rehabilitation programme from the hip strain that ruled him out of the game against Scotland and will take some part in today’s session at Belfield.
