The Exiles Under-19s will face Crawshays – the Welsh invitational side – in Richmond on Saturday morning, a perfect chance for the thousands travelling to the game to catch them in action.
For the thousands of you who will be making your way to Twickenham for the England v Ireland Six Nations game, why not call in at Old Deer Park in Richmond, the home of London Welsh, where the Exiles Under-19 XV will be playing the Crawshays, that well-known Welsh invitation side.
Crawshays had a narrow win in an an exciting game against Leinster ‘A’ last week when they included six internationals in their side.
Founded in 1922, the roll of honour of famous players to have represented the Crawshays includes: JPR Williams, Phil Bennett, JJ Williams, Bobby Windsor, Graham Price, Allan Bateman and Scott Gibbs from Wales.
Saturday’s kick-off is at 11.30am and access is easy from Richmond main line and underground stations. Hope to see you there!
The list also includes ex-Leinster scrum half Guy Easterby, Irish stars Paul Burke, Moss Keane and Moss Finn, Wilson Lauder and John Jeffrey from Scotland and England duo Julian White and Pat Sanderson.
