Dempsey And Bowe Pick Up Minor Injuries

The extended Ireland squad trained at the University of Limerick on Tuesday, continuing their preparatory work ahead of next week’s clash with the Barbarians and the summer tour to New Zealand and Australia.

Tuesday’s training stint was a full contact session at the UL Bowl. Girvan Dempsey picked up a slight dead leg during the session and Tommy Bowe took a knock to his hip.

Neither of the injuries are serious and both are expected to train tomorrow (Wednesday) or on Thursday.
