Belvo Vets Second Stage Fixtures News

The first three weeks of Vets League competition has completed. Now the seedings can be determined for the next stage…….

The Vets League will now be re-organised in to 3 groups after the preliminary rounds. These groups are then divided based upon the following criteria:

Group 1 is made up of 6 teams – the four teams in 1st place from each the preliminary groups, and the top 2 ranked 2nd place teams from the preliminary groups on for/against ratio

Ø Group 2 is made up of 5 teams – the bottom 2 ranked 2nd place teams from the preliminary groups on for/against ratio, and the top 3 ranked 3rd place teams from the preliminary groups on for/against ratio
Ø Group 3 is made up of 5 teams – the bottom ranked 3rd place on for/against ratio and four teams in 4th place in each of the preliminary groups
Applying this formula the groups in alphabetical order are as follows:

Group 1 – Flying Crocks, Lansdowne Legends, Stalevo Stallions, Terenure Crocks, Vintage Rock ’79, Wanderley Wagons

Group 2 – Falling Stars, Icarus Allsorts, Mangy Rangers, Mostly Monkstown, Wombles

Group 3 – Danger Rangers, Greystones Seagulls, Hurricanes, Lansdowne Lightning, Salmo Sluggers

Fixtures for these groups will be online Monday 26th May* during the morning time.
