It was one of those night’s when you got all four seasons in one but that didn’t deter the teams at Enniscorthy RFC in their pursuit of victory and fun at Budweiser Tag.
Enniscorthy RFC’s Budweiser IRFU Tag League second week was played under mixed conditions last Thursday.
The evening started off brightly but a huge downpour sent players & supporters running for cover between games. Luckily conditions improved for the last round of matches which were eventually played under lights.
In the Beginners section wins for The Professionals & The Kidney Failures see them as the early pacesetters in this section. The Individuals also registered their 1st win of the season against The Mixed Ups.
Over in Grade B The Pretenders are still unbeaten after another drawn game against D’Unbelievables, played in terrible conditions. Wins for Who’s Ya Daddy and Multiple Scoregasms mean they are also unbeaten and the leading pair in Grade B so far.
A dry clubhouse provided welcome relief at the end of the evening and even sparked an impromptu Irish jig from a relieved referee!
