Magners League Kick Off Times Confirmed
The finalised dates and kick off times for the first nine rounds of the Magners League have been announced.With a minimum of two Magners League games broadcast live every weekend, fans will have a great opportunity to follow their favourite team, home or away.
The dates and kick off times announced cover fixtures up to the New Year.
BBC Wales Scrum V programme returns to its regular Friday evening slot with their opening broadcast featuring Newport Gwent Dragons v Glasgow Warriors.
On Saturday September 6th Welsh language channel S4C comes from the Arms Park where Cardiff Blues host current champions Leinster.
Setanta Sports will feature action from Ireland and Scotland each weekend, as well broadcasting selected games from Wales.
Friday night, September 5th, at The Sportsground will open the action for the Irish teams with Connacht hosting Ospreys at 6:30 p.m. Ulster will kick off at 7:30 p.m. for their opening game the same night. Munster travel to Edinburgh and will also kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Leinster will start their title defence in the Arms Park against Cardiff with a 6:30 p.m. kick off the following day.
Sunday matches are a feature for the provinces with Leinster playing host to Munster on Sunday, September 28th at the RDS. The League champions then travel to The Sportsground the following Sunday for a 6:00 p.m. start against Connacht.
Christmas and New Year, fast becoming a welcome tradition in the calendar, sees Ulster against Leinster on December 27th at 7:30 p.m. in Ravenhill and Connacht at home to Munster on the 28th with a 6:00 p.m. start.
The westerners then travel to Dublin on January 2nd for a 7:30 start against Leinster while Munster will face Ulster the following day 7:30 p.m. No decision has been taken as yet whether this game will be in Musgrave Park or Thomond Park.
