Connacht Delay Squad Selection

Connacht coach Michael Bradley will wait on a number of fitness reports before naming his squad to take on the Llanelli Scarlets in Saturday’s sole Magners League game.

Connacht have a number of injury worries ahead of their first trip to Wales this season and with the game not taking place until Saturday evening, every opportunity is being given for players to recover.

This weekend’s clash with Llanelli will be the final Magners League game to take place at Stradey Park before the Scarlets move to a new £23m stadium, ‘Parc y Scarlets’.

Connacht remained unbeaten on their first three visits to the famous Welsh venue, where Llanelli defeated both Australia and the All-Blacks.

Having been beaten on their last two visits to Stradey Park, Michael Bradley’s men will be eager to overturn the Scarlets and spoil the party.

Saturday’s game, which kicks off at 5.30pm, will be shown live on Setanta Sports Ireland and S4C.
