With the four Welsh regions already having played their Round 5 games, there are only three matches in the Magners League this weekend and all three involve Irish provinces.
There is one game on Friday night with basement side Ulster looking for their first win of the season when Edinburgh travel to Ravenhill.
However, Edinburgh scored a double over the Ulstermen last season and the only win in their last nine trips to Ireland was in Belfast last November.
The action continues on Saturday evening with Munster looking to take top spot when Glasgow Warriors are the first visitors to the revamped Thomond Park Stadium.
Interestingly, the only defeat for Munster at home in their last eight games came last May against Glasgow.
The final game of the round will see Leinster, smarting from a home defeat to Munster last Sunday, in Galway to face a Connacht side who have lost their last 13 league games against Irish opposition.
They have not beaten Leinster for nearly four years – losing eight in-a-row to the Dublin-based outfit.
