Full-back Fionn Carr has been named the Connacht Aer Arann Player of the Month for September. The Kildare man has been in very good form since making the move west from Leinster in the summer.
Aer Arann marketing manager Annette McGarry presented Fionn Carr with his award at the Sportsground recently, which consisted of two return flights to any of Aer Arann’s destinations.
The 22-year-old Carr, who is in his first year with Connacht, has played in all of the westerners’ matches so far this season and is considered to be one of the province’s most consistant performers.
During September, he started all of Connacht’s matches against the Ospreys, the Scarlets and Cardiff Blues.
He was instrumental in Connacht’s victory over the Glasgow Warriors at the Sportsground, scoring a try in the process.
