Charitable Trust: A Question Of Sport

The IRFU Charitable Trust is delighted to announce details of their Charity Question of Sport table quiz for 2008. The Charitable Trust was set up to help seriously injured rugby players and their families and this is a great chance to raise much needed funds.

A superb evening of sporting fun will be held with a quiz, raffle, spot prizes and auction and great prizes for the first three teams. This is a very worthwhile cause and is an ideal opportunity to entertain staff and customers.

Our auctioneer for the night will be former Ireland international Fergus Slattery while rugby pundit George Hook is lined up to be quiz master.

The event will be attended by a host of former rugby international players and sports personalities.

Taking place on Thursday, November 13 at the Ballsbridge Court Hotel, Dublin 4. (formerly the Berkeley Court) this event will be one of the highlights of the rugby calendar set, as it is, in the midst of the Guinness Series 2008 as Ireland play Canada, New Zealand and Argentina.

Cost per team of four: 600 euro

Please fill in the names of your team on the application form and return with your cheque to the IRFU Charitable Trust c/o Sharon Coffey, 10-12 Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. A receipt will be sent by return of post.

A reception and buffet food will be available from 7pm to 7.45pm and the quiz, ‘Charity Question of Sport’, will begin at 8pm sharp.
