Stephen Ferris has recovered from a rib injury to be named in the 26-man Ulster squad for Saturday’s Magners League encounter with table toppers Munster at Ravenhill (kick-off 7.35pm).
Ulster coach Matt Williams has included 14 forwards, including fit-again flanker Stephen Ferris who has recovered from the rib injury he picked up against French side Stade Francais two weeks ago.
Thomas Anderson and Stuart Philpott are also included in the extended squad and both will be keen to get a chance to play against the reigning European champions. Team captain Rory Best is a notable absentee.
In the backs contingent, Paul Steinmetz and Mark McCrea are fighting for inclusion in the matchday panel.
Main Stand tickets for Saturday’s game have now sold out.
Promenade and Terrace tickets are still available for the much-anticipated interprovincial derby, as are tickets for the YellowTom stand.
The temporary stand is based at the Memorial arch side of the pitch and is a seated, covered stand.
