Garryowen Go To Press with Gzine

Garryowen’s committment to youth developmenthas returned rich dividends for the club according to club Chairman Ger Clarke. This committment is demonstrated by the Gzine a regular newsletter aimed at the underage sides in the club.

With Christy Barry and David Ryan at the editorial helm, the newsletter is to sure to be a great hit with the club’s stars of the future and issue 1 was launched recently for December.

Commenting in ‘Gzine’, Garryowen FC President John Noonan said: “It gives me much pleasure to address you as President of our club. I hope that you, as players from the youngest to the oldest, are enjoying your rugby in Dooradoyle.

“You are very lucky to have such a strong team of managers and coaches who give so freely of their time each Sunday morning during the season to teach all aspects of the game.

“It helps you develop as a player and by practising self discipline, you become a better person.

“I would also like to thank your parents and guardians for bringing you to Dooradoyle. As a club, we would be delighted to welcome you as a member and participate in in all club activities in the future.”
