UL’s power and pace overwhelmed the division’s bottom side with Munster Academy talents Kieran Essex and Tommy O’Donnell helping themselves to two tries apiece.
Munster Under-20 winger Finbar Aherne was Bohs’ other try scorer in what was their sixth win of the campaign.
The result will give a big boost to Ian Costello’s side as they still remain in the hunt to reach the semi-finals and are now just a win or two away from playing in the restructured ‘top eight’ division next season.
Number 8 Essex and openside flanker O’Donnell had early tries for the hosts, with Cathal Sheridan converting Essex’s effort and also landing a penalty for a 15-0 half-time lead.
With ‘Nure lacking ideas in attack and being worn down in defence, right winger Aherne cut through for Bohs’ third try shortly after the break.
Completely on top at this stage, UL put the icing on the cake when Essex and O’Donnell muscled their way over for further tries with Fergal Lawlor converting both efforts.
