Munster Announce Squad For Croker Derby
Munster coach Tony McGahan has named a 25-man squad for Saturday’s Heineken Cup semi-final clash with Leinster at Croke Park (kick-off 5.30pm).
Included in Munster’s extended squad is Mike Prendergast who comes in for Tomas O’Leary after he sustained a fractured ankle in the game against Scarlets last weekend.
The squad trained at the University of Limerick and will complete their preparations behind closed doors on Thursday, before travelling by train to Dublin on Friday where they are expected to arrive around 2.15pm.
Head coach Tony McGahan said: “At this stage of the competition every side that we meet is of very high quality, otherwise they would not be there.
“It’s a derby game which makes it more interesting but we are approaching this one no different than any other week. There is nothing different in our preparation.”
