In Pics: Lions Enjoy Activity Day In Durban

The British & Irish Lions players got up close and personal with some sharks at uShaka Marine World in Durban on Sunday, ahead of their midweek clash with the Super 14 side.

Lions captain Paul O’Connell said that the touring party arrived in Durban on Sunday in ‘a good frame of mind’, following their narrow in over the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

“We’re very pleased with the way the tour has gone thus far, we didn’t play fabulously against the Cheetahs but it was a good win nonetheless,” he said.

“The boys are all very happy with the way things are going and enjoying the tour and being in South Africa.”
